Bin No 120 Marques de la Villa Garnacha/Tinto de Toro 2004 £14.00 A short step away from the famous Rioja region you find wines like this – a superb wine without the Rioja price tag. Full bodied red with aromas of damsons and dried fruits, rich spicy flavours and concentrated plum and blackberry fruit.
Bin No 135 Heywood, Shiraz, S.E. Australia, 2006 £15.00 Powerful, rich berry fruit and spice. Subtle oak, and great length. Great with red meat and game.
Bin No 155 Andes Peak Merlot 2005, Chile £15.50 Made by the Santa Emiliana wine group, headed by one of Chile’s foremost winemakers – Thierry Villard. Ripe, plummy Merlot, with just enough oak to add weight and complexity, without being overbearing. A classy, long finish too.

Bin No 58 Savigny-les-Beaune, Clos des Guettes, 1er Cru 2002 £38.00 Domaine A.F Gros An excellent vintage from one of Burgundy’s best. Ann Gros produces stunning wines. This medium bodied wine offers a mouth full of blackberries.
Bin No 59 Savigny-Les-Beaune, Côte de Beaune 2002 £36.00 Domaine Chandon de Brailles Madame de Nicolay’s transformation of this vineyard in the late 1980’s has paid great dividends. No herbicides or pesticides are used and the wine is unfiltered. Plenty of black fruit, intense finish.
